Marjorie Taylor Greene has left the Republican Party, calling it “America Last” — and the split over the Jeffrey Epstein files is what finally broke her loyalty.
Story Snapshot
- Greene left the Republican Party, following Tucker Carlson, and says the GOP puts foreign interests ahead of American citizens.
- She was one of only four Republican lawmakers who pushed to force a House vote on releasing all Epstein files — and says Trump was furious about it.
- Trump pulled his endorsement of Greene in November and backed a primary challenger against her instead.
- Despite the feud, Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act 427-1, and Trump signed it — raising questions about how serious the obstruction really was.
Greene Walks Away From the GOP
Marjorie Taylor Greene has officially left the Republican Party. She joins Tucker Carlson in rejecting the GOP label, calling the party “America Last.” Greene says Republican leadership no longer fights for everyday Americans. She points to the Epstein files fight, the party’s stance on Iran and Israel, and what she describes as retaliation against members who dared to ask hard questions. For conservatives who feel the party has drifted from its promises, her exit hits close to home.
Greene was one of only four Republican lawmakers who signed a discharge petition to force a House floor vote on releasing all Jeffrey Epstein files. [4] She says Trump called her a traitor and was “extremely angry” that she had pushed for the release. [5] Greene also claims Trump told her, in a text, that her family deserved the death threats they received — a stunning allegation that has not been independently verified. [6] Trump has not addressed the specific content of any such text message on the record.
Trump Pulled His Endorsement — Then Signed the Bill
In mid-November, Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene and backed a primary challenger to run against her. [1] He called her “wacky” and a “ranting lunatic” on Truth Social. None of her Republican colleagues publicly defended her. That kind of institutional silence — no support, no pushback, just attacks — is exactly what Greene says proves her point about the party’s direction.
Here is where the story gets complicated. Trump later reversed course. He urged House Republicans to vote for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, saying “we have nothing to hide.” The bill passed 427-1 in the House and unanimously in the Senate. Trump signed it into law on November 19, 2025. [16] Only one Republican — Rep. Clay Higgins — voted against it. [13] So while Greene’s fight was real, the outcome she wanted actually happened. That matters when weighing how far the “betrayal” narrative goes.
The Bigger Argument: Who Does the GOP Really Serve?
Greene’s break goes beyond the Epstein files. She says Republican leadership attacked her and Rep. Thomas Massie for opposing military conflict with Iran. [2] She also claims millions in campaign funds — including what she calls foreign donor money — were used to defeat Massie in his primary. Those are serious charges. But no Federal Election Commission filings, audits, or named donor lists have been made public to back up the foreign money claim specifically.
Republican Oversight Committee Chair James Comer did join Democrats to probe the Department of Justice over missing Epstein-related documents, showing some GOP members are still pushing for answers. [15] Greene says she will keep fighting for transparency and an “America First” agenda outside the party structure. Whether she and Carlson can build something new — or whether this is the end of their political influence — remains an open question. What is clear is that the frustration driving her exit is real, and millions of conservatives share it, even if they do not all agree with her conclusions.

Rumor is she had a dose biden mayo.
Given the Democrat obsession with stealing the vote and election fraud, I say loyalty to the current controlling party is absolutely necessary. Overall, the threat of Dems ever controlling our country again is out of the question.
They have no guidance and a horrible record of governing nationally and throughout the world. They have absolutely nothing to Americans but to begin fleecing tax money once again.
