‘Politics makes strange bedfellows’ — somebody famous said that. Extra-martial affairs never hurt FDR, Eisenhower, all the Kennedys, Clinton or Trump political careers. John Edwards got just desserts for cheating on his wife when she was battling cancer. Most high achiever, Type-A personalities (both men and women) have high Libidos, so they must be hard-wired that way. That is a historical fact — human nature. In most cultures (including Western societies) having mistresses and affairs are par for the course for leaders and is socially acceptable in their countries (i.e.: King Charles and Camilla).
Who cares I don’t know the exact percentage of men and women who break their wedding vows on the same day they get married or shortly thereafter but who cares as long as they’re doing their jobs taking care of what they need to. I’m sorry for the families, but hey if you can tell me that you haven’t cheated or attempted to then good for you otherwise that’s their business not anyone else’s. Get real people deal with the REAL PROBLEMS going on in this country and it’s not two people cheating on each other.
