The FBI is raising urgent alarms about a dangerous neo-Nazi and satanic group called “764” that’s targeting children across America. Law enforcement agencies nationwide are investigating hundreds of cases as the 764 Movement continues to spread exploitation. How can parents prepare themselves and their children to avoid being victims?
A Growing Threat to Children
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has issued an urgent public safety alert about the disturbing 764 Movement, a neo-Nazi and satanic cult targeting children across America. “We want parents—especially parents—to be aware of this because a lot of the children that are being exploited and the children doing the exploiting, parents are unaware of it,” warned Wilson after meeting with the FBI about this growing threat.
The group’s exploitation techniques include coercing children into filming themselves performing self-harm, creating disturbing symbolic cuts on their bodies, engaging in animal abuse, and producing explicit content. “The types of things that they’re filming are kids cutting themselves, doing blood signs, kids engaging in bestiality, kids, and other types of self-harm and self-abuse,” Wilson explained, adding that the exploitation can escalate to “getting the kids to commit suicide on recording so that people can watch it for entertainment.”

How Children Are Targeted
The 764 network, founded by Bradley Cadenhead when he was just 15 years old in 2020, primarily targets vulnerable minors through gaming chatrooms, social media platforms, and phone apps. Members infiltrate online spaces where children gather, initially offering friendship and attention before gradually introducing violent content and extremist ideology.
Once trust is established, the predators begin requesting explicit images or videos from victims, which are then used as blackmail to force compliance with increasingly disturbing demands. The FBI has warned that “these networks use threats, blackmail, and manipulation to coerce or extort victims into producing, sharing, or live-streaming acts of self-harm, animal cruelty, sexually explicit acts, and/or suicide.”

Warning Signs and Protection Measures
Parents should be alert for several warning signs that their child may be involved with the 764 group or similar exploitation networks. These include sudden withdrawal from family and friends, wearing long sleeves in hot weather to hide self-harm, mood disorders, unusual secrecy around online activities, and unexplained emotional distress.
The FBI currently has hundreds of open cases against the 764 network across every field office in the country, demonstrating the widespread nature of this threat. Law enforcement officials are urging parents to monitor their children’s online activities, maintain open communication about internet safety, and immediately contact the FBI or local authorities if they suspect their child is being targeted.
Attorney General Wilson is collaborating with South Carolina’s Superintendent of Education to alert schools and has discussed Senate Bill 74 to strengthen subpoena powers for protecting children. Parents who notice concerning behavior should immediately reach out to authorities, as early intervention is crucial in preventing the devastating consequences this group has already inflicted on countless young victims across the country.
