A Wisconsin teenager’s descent into extremism has culminated in the murder of his parents and an alleged plot to assassinate President Donald Trump. This shocking case highlights the alarming vulnerability of young minds to radical indoctrination and raises critical questions about how society can identify and counter such extremism before it manifests in tragedy. How was a teenager able to develop such elaborate plans for terror attacks without detection?
Murder, Manifesto, and Terror Plot
Authorities in Wisconsin have charged 17-year-old Nikita Casap with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly murdering his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer. The bodies were discovered during a welfare check on February 28, launching an investigation that would soon uncover plans far more sinister than the initial homicides.
Federal prosecutors are now pursuing additional charges, including conspiracy, attempted presidential assassination, and use of weapons of mass destruction, after discovering Casap’s elaborate plot. The teen, who authored a manifesto under the usernames “Awoken” and “accelerationist14,” detailed plans to assassinate President Trump, initiate a race war, and ultimately overthrow the U.S. government.

Neo-Nazi Connections and Violent Ideology
Investigators revealed that Casap idolized Adolf Hitler and maintained affiliations with the Order of Nine Angles, a neo-Nazi terror network. His manifesto contained disturbing statements, including, “In short, huge amounts of violence will be required. Long past are the days when we can vote for a Hitler to save us. It is time we stop waiting. The best day to commit an attack is today; the next best is tomorrow.”
The investigation uncovered that Casap believed in creating a revolutionary situation through sustained terrorism and explicitly advocated for white supremacist violence. “It is time that we lead the way to the System collapse. Do absolutely anything you can that will lead to the collapse of America or any other country you live in. This is the only way that we can save the White race. White Revolution is the only solution,” he wrote in his manifesto.

Operational Planning and International Connections
Authorities discovered that Casap had gone beyond mere ideology, taking concrete steps to implement his violent agenda. He had arranged to pay for an armed drone capable of dropping explosives and poisons, communicated with international accomplices, and planned multiple coordinated attacks accompanied by a propaganda campaign to glorify the violence.
The teenager’s parents’ murder appears to have been motivated in part by financial gain to fund his terrorist activities. After killing his parents, Casap stole money and misappropriated identification, leading to additional charges of hiding a corpse, misappropriating ID, and theft of property over $10,000.
Before being linked to the homicides, Casap was initially arrested on auto theft charges, with plans to escape to Ukraine following his planned attacks. His manifesto included detailed instructions for manufacturing bombs and assassinating Jewish politicians and billionaires, demonstrating the extent of his preparations and the seriousness of the threat.
