Erstwhile President Trump delivered a grave warning ahead of a possible Justice Department prosecution, following the FBI operation on his Mar-a-Lago resort last month.
In a discussion with conservative chat radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump stated an indictment against him would cause “troubles, the likes of which maybe we’ve never seen before.”
Trump went on to add Americans “just wouldn’t stand” for him to be put on trial by the administration of President Joe Biden.
Trump also reportedly stated an indictment by the Department of Justice would not prevent him from running for the presidency again in 2024, which was an implicit confirmation he intends to do so.
His Believe In The American People
Trump stated, “If such an event occurred, I would have no restrictions against running.”
“If it were to occur, I believe it would cause issues in our country the likes of which we have never seen before. I do not believe the American people would tolerate that.”
Hewitt demanded clarification from the former president on what he meant by “issues.”
“I believe they would have significant challenges, big difficulties. I simply do not believe they would tolerate it. They will not tolerate this greatest of frauds in silence,” Trump remarked.

Sen. Lindsey Graham predicted last month there may be “riots in the streets” if “there is a trial of Trump for mishandling sensitive material.” The former president’s comments came after Graham’s prediction.
Graham stated on Fox News’ “Sunday Night in America” that there is a double standard when it comes to Trump.
He compared the uproar over Trump potentially mishandling confidential material to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized private server throughout her time in office.
Graham added, “If Trump is prosecuted for mishandling secret material in the wake of the Clinton scandal, there will be rioting in the streets.”
According to Hewitt, the “legacy media” will interpret Trump’s comments as an incitement to violence. “That is not provocative. I’m simply expressing my opinion,” Trump said. “I don’t believe the citizens of this nation would stand for that.”
An Actual Call to Arms
While some may perceive Trump’s statements as inciting, a Democratic senator, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, voiced a “call to arms” during one floor speech this week regarding the issue of abortion.
Fox News stated on Wednesday that Hirono appeared on the Senate floor to comment on Sen. Lindsey Graham’s latest legislative proposal to outlaw abortions after 15 weeks.
The measure provides various exceptions, as well as for rape, incest, and when a lady’s life is at risk from a pregnancy.

It also explicitly outlaws the punishment of women obtaining abortions. Along with other Senate Democrats, she passionately opposed the bill for its “extreme MAGA Republican agenda.”
She concluded her address with a call to arms against pro-life policies and movements. Her words received widespread backlash on social media.
