American teenagers on social media are being targeted by Cartels at the southern border to get them to smuggle illegal immigrants into the United States/.

The latest sign of the escalating chaos at the U.S. – Mexico border is seen as drug cartels are targeting teens on TikTok and other social media platforms, to do their dirty work of smuggling illegal immigrants.

Cartels post ads on social media apps like Tiktok, where they offer teens and young adults more than $3,000 a ride to come to drive smuggled migrants into the United States when they reach the border.

The ads that were captured and reported by Fox News shows, “Need 2 or 3 drivers to go through a checkpoint,” one says.

Another says, “Got another 6 left, already crossed. Lemme know ASAP for that easy cash.”

If the teens take the job and helped get the migrants through the checkpoints and then go and drop them off at locations such as a store parking lot where the migrants will be met and get picked up by someone trusted by the cartel. After the migrants are picked up by cartels, they will be transferred to stash houses that are scattered along the border.

In March alone, there were over 172,000 migrant encounters at the border. However, authorities estimated that there are over 1,000 “gotaways” every single day where people who got into the country by sneaking past the Border.

According to sources that reported to Fox News smugglers would usually drop children off in one part of the border so adult migrants can sneak past as the Border Patrol is overwhelmed with dealing with children. In most cases, the children could get through the unfinished gaps that are located in the border wall.

Sources also told Fox News taht the recruited American teenagers and young adults would use their parents’ SUVs to make these trips to transport migrants, without the parents knowing. One teenager’s mother, a nurse, started crying when she received a call from authorities about what the daughter was doing. However, with authorities being so overwhelmed with what is going on, teenagers are often getting a little more than a slap on the wrist.

This news is the lates shocking detail in the months long chaos at the southern border.

On Saturday, Biden finally called the situation a “crisis.” For the first time the President acknowledged the situation as such even though the White House later stepped back at his remakrs and stated that there was a crisis in Central America, but not at the border.

Meanwhile, critics blamed Biden administration on the surge of migrants due to the rollback of Trump-era policies such as the Migrant Protection Protocols. This protocols used to keep migrants in Mexico while awaiting hearings. The Biden administration also opt not to use the Title 42 public health order which supposed to expel child migrants fromt he country.

However, the Biden administration also referred to the surge as a “challenge rather than a crisis. Biden also blamed the former Trump administration and accused it of ending a number of legal asylum pathways which the Biden administration now has to restore.

On Tuesday, a declaration of emergency was announced by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. He announced that he is sending the National Guard to the border in order to help overwhelmed officials.

Ducey said announcing the moves, “The situation in our border communities is just as bad, if not worse, than the coverage we’ve been seeing.”
