Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has caused quite a stir in the past several days after sending planeloads of illegal immigrants to the exclusive liberal island of Martha’s Vineyard.
A few dozen illegal immigrants, mostly from Venezuela, would presumably be an improvement for the white liberal community where Barack Obama has a home.
Though it turns out that liberals like to talk a big game about supporting immigration and undocumented workers, but when strangers without money show up on their doorstep, many of them freak out.
Let’s take a look…
Liberal Meltdown in Martha’s Vineyard
Last year, the town of Mission, Texas recorded 253 illegal immigrants caught in a single hour. Rio Grande Valley US Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP) encountered 549,077 illegal immigrants in 2021 alone.
Though liberals and the media are melting down over 48 illegal immigrants shipped to Martha’s Vineyard, a small island off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Why, exactly?
While some local representatives and community members have helped arrange accommodations and resources for these folks, there are others who are whining and causing a fuss.
There are even claims from some, such as deranged historian Ken Burns, that DeSantis is committing an action similar to the German Nazis by sending illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
Does Martha’s Vineyard look like a concentration camp to you? It looks a lot to me like an idyllic, upper-class enclave of rich liberals, over 80% of whom voted for Joe Biden.
It looks like the perfect spot for folks who are down on their luck to be welcomed, embraced, and given everything they need by well-intentioned citizens. So, why are some Martha Muppets causing a fuss?

Housing Shortage
The median home value on Martha’s Vineyard is over $1 million. They have a housing shortage, or at least an affordable housing shortage.
Let me put it even more bluntly: Martha’s Vineyard is a rich white island, not a place with room for everybody of all backgrounds and income levels.
Some residents are very stressed about not having enough room to house these few dozen illegal immigrants and stressed about what will happen if DeSantis or somebody else, such as Texas Governor Greg Abbott, sends more.
They like to talk a big game about Texas, Arizona, and Florida having to bear the burden of poor and desperate people, but when it comes time to do the heavy lifting, these lily-white liberals go hide in a corner.
They don’t want their vacation homes and Airbnb properties being used for free by illegal immigrants. They just want to vote for Biden and post self-righteous nonsense on social media or accuse conservatives of racism.
When the rubber hits the road, these folks want their little white island to stay the way it is. Sounds kind of racist, doesn’t it?

The Bottom Line
Isn’t diversity supposed to be our strength? I thought no human was illegal!
Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard estate has dozens of bedrooms and sits on 30 acres. Why doesn’t he invite these folks to camp out? He spent his presidency saying immigrants mean everything to him.
