Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is very well known for her advocacy of far-left policies. She’s been on board with the Green New Deal, raising taxes, and villainizing anyone who isn’t in favor of the radical left.
Throughout her time in the public eye, Ocasio-Cortez has also managed to brand herself as a grassroots progressive. This is the basis the New York congresswoman uses when she’s pushing far-left policies or pushing back against anyone who disagrees with her.
Up until now, it looked like Ocasio-Cortez managed to secure a reliable base of supporters who will consistently vote for her. Though a new town hall hosted by the congresswoman now indicates she’s got some real problems, as reported by Breitbart News.
A Bad Town Hall For AOC
While holding a town hall in Queens, New York, Ocasio-Cortez was pressed about the growing problems her community faces under her representation in Congress. These problems include medical mandates, rising lawlessness rates, and much more.
Many protesters at the town hall who didn’t appreciate answers from the congresswoman also beat drums, shouted, and even shut off the lights in the room.
Grab some popcorn & add extra butter. AOC was just humiliated at her own town hall meeting. It didn’t go her away and this is how she responded . pic.twitter.com/AZUF7lonxB

Later, the congresswoman was pressed about why she’s in favor of defunding the police. In New York especially, police defunding has made communities less safe amid emboldening criminals.
If there’s one thing this town hall does, it shows that many of the congresswoman’s own constituents aren’t as pleased with her as much of Americans might have believed.
This incident also raises questions about whether or not Ocasio-Cortez will manage to win her reelection this go around. If she does not, then GOP contender Tina Forte will take her place.
Growing Pushback Against Democrats
Ocasio-Cortez is far from an outlier. More Americans across the United States are realizing that Democratic policies are disastrous and far from the saving grace that leftists allege they are.
In Oregon, for instance, the state’s GOP gubernatorial candidate looks well-positioned to possibly defeat the Democratic candidate running for the same office.
I don’t own nor trade individual stocks, accept no corporate money to my campaign, & live solely off my congressional salary (which requires us to pay for 2 rents out of pocket).
All of this is publicly disclosed info. I save in a Thrift Savings Plan just like other fed workers.

In various midterm races, Democrats who once had an edge are now being pummeled by their GOP opponents. Amid massive disasters and chaos, Democrats have chosen to double down on failed policies time and time again.
If Ocasio-Cortez and others chose to not listen to their constituents and to people who are suffering from left-wing leadership, that’s their prerogative. However, they shouldn’t be shocked to be protested at their events and ultimately voted out of office.
What do you think about the pushback Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faced recently while holding a town hall event in Queens, New York? Do you believe her constituents will ultimately vote her out of office?
