After sending thousands of illegal immigrants to New York City and Washington D.C, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is likely to send buses of illegal immigrants to Philadelphia now.
According to Philadelphia’s Mayor Jim Kenney, the city is making an inventory of its existing resources to utilize them properly once illegal immigrants come to Philadelphia.
More Blue Cities to Get Illegal Immigrants’ Shipment
While Abbott has not announced any plans to send illegal immigrants to Philadelphia, the city is still frightened the Republican governor may start sending the illegal immigrants to the blue city anytime soon.
Kenney noted he is not expecting any letter from Abbott before the arrival of illegal immigrants; so the city is preparing itself in advance.

Since April, Texas sent nearly 7,600 illegal immigrants to Washington D.C, while almost 1,900 people have been bussed to NYC.
Abbott’s office did not respond to Fox News’s question about whether the illegal immigrants would be sent to Philadelphia or not. However, the office told Axios to stay tuned to know the other cities that will receive buses in the upcoming days.
Last month, Abbott wrote an op-ed in Fox News, according to which Biden is unable to understand the severity of the border crisis, as he has not even visited the border once.
Even Vice President Kamala Harris, who was assigned to deal with the border crisis, visited the border only once, that too without taking any meaningful action to tackle the open border issue.
Likewise, Abbott continued, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is claiming the southern border is completely secure, which suggests he is extremely out of touch with ground realities.

Sanctuary Cities in Deep Trouble
Abbott has repeatedly asserted Democratic politicians who do not want buses of illegal immigrants in their cities should speak to Biden so he may understand the gravity of the situation.
Last week, Abbott also started to send illegal immigrants’ buses to Chicago.
After receiving these buses, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot slammed Abbott, stating the Republican governor claims to be a Christian, but his actions are not in line with the teachings of the Bible.
Busing illegal immigrants to blue cities is a part of Abbott’s operation Lone Star, which he initiated to counter the rising illegal immigration at the southern border.
Conservative politicians have hammered Biden for his so-called open-border policy, which is deteriorating the law and order situation in the country.
Abbott’s attempt to send immigrants to blue cities is also putting an exceptional strain on the so-called social safety nets of those cities.
For instance, NYC Mayor Eric Adams decried the lack of housing facilities in his city after seeing Abbott’s continuous efforts to ship illegal immigrants to New York.
Recently, Adams acknowledged he violated the right to shelter when four families of illegal immigrants spent the whole night at a homeless intake center.
