During one of her latest interviews on MSNBC, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked why the American people trust Republicans more to actually get this country back on its feet.
To no one’s surprise, Jean-Pierre was at a loss for words, likely baffled by the idea that after everything the great President Joe Biden has done for the US, people wouldn’t trust him and his party members.
Jean-Pierre can’t grasp why no one trusts Democrats
In an attempt to salvage what little reputation Democrats have left, she went on to blame the current economic crisis on Trump, even though he hasn’t been in office for almost two years, at this point.
Peter Doocy: "How is it that we can be barrelling towards a recession, and the economy is as the President says 'strong as hell'?"

According to KJP, Democrats always had a deep understanding of what the average American is dealing with and what they’re looking for in a leader, which isn’t exactly reflected in what the party is currently up to.
Despite there being irrefutable evidence the general public’s greatest concerns are the border crisis and the ever-growing inflation, the left has managed to ignore it for nearly a year now.
They’re instead focusing on gender identity policies and abortion rights to appease the small minority that prioritizes them over economic independence.
Understanding the situation isn’t the same as actively doing something to change it. Democrats can’t seem to wrap their heads around that fairly simple concept.
Karine Jean-Pierre: “When the President walked into this administration, the economy was in ruins. It was in absolute ruins.”

Third-quarter GDP spike proved to be fabricated
In fact, Jean-Pierre isn’t alone in her claims that the economy was already in shambles when Biden entered office; her questionable views are supported by thousands of other Biden admirers.
Thankfully, there’s enough evidence to dispute those claims ten times over, especially given the handful of policies from the Trump era that survived are likely the things keeping this economy from falling apart entirely.
If you’ve got the most basic understanding of how the US economy works, it’s not difficult to grasp everything went downhill when Democrats decided to shut down businesses as the pandemic was at its peak.
Karine Jean-Pierre just said the US economy was “in absolute ruins” when Biden was placed in office.
If KJP is telling the truth (she’s not) then what condition is the economy in now that inflation is 6 times higher than it was under Trump?

If you look at the inflation rates two years ago, it was only 1.4% when Biden was signed into office in January 2021. Slightly over a year later, it was already at 8%; although the actual number is much higher than what Democrats will have you believe.
We’d have already been in a recession, had the White House not redefined the term entirely, effectively delaying it without having to act upon it immediately, a tried and tested strategy from the Biden administration.
After two consecutive negative GDP quarters, the BEA reported the GDP is actually up 2.6% in the third quarter. After a thorough investigation, it was found the spike is related to US oil, gas, and weapons exports.
