Speculation about whether or not former President Trump chooses to run for the White House again is growing. At this point, it’s something the ex-president has repeatedly hinted at during various events and speeches.
However, some other Republicans stand as possible contenders for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination as well.
Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, among others, are viewed as prospective candidates for the GOP nomination.
Despite the clear support amongst Trump’s base for him to seek a second term again, not all Republicans are on board with this. GOP members with this mindset have often touted DeSantis as a viable candidate.
However, according to Yahoo News, Ivanka Trump and former first lady Melania Trump are allegedly urging Donald Trump to sit out the 2024 presidential election.
Internal Disputes About 2024?
Reports indicate that both Ivanka and Melania believe it would be best if Trump doesn’t go through with his perceived plans to launch a third presidential campaign.
Apparently, the former first lady and first daughter believe Trump staying away from the White House will help him fight off various legal battles.
Allegations also assert that both Ivanka and Melania are interested in returning to the lives they had before the 2016 presidential election.
Yet, with Trump heavily involved in politics and projected to declare his candidacy in the 2024 race any day now, this leaves a clear conflict of ideals.
“Melania and Ivanka do not get along about much, but both are begging him to announce he will not be running. They believe all of this will disappear if he ends all of the speculation.”https://t.co/Ft54eq2oow

Meanwhile, former first sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have expressed they’d very much like to see their father run for re-election in 2024. Typically, presidential candidacy announcements come after the midterms are over.
However, speculations about whether Trump may break tradition and announce his candidacy ahead of time are very much alive and well.
Growing Pushback From Trump’s Critics
Amid this week’s raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the former president warns he’s being targeted by political enemies who are bound to keep him from running in the 2024 election.
Meanwhile, as the FBI and Justice Department iron out various documents they allege Trump to have been in possession of, Democrats are piling on with criticism.
If you’ve been aboard the Trump Train the last 7 years, you’ve been given an unexpected stop. Time to get off. Wherever you think this is going, it’s not. Trump stole Top Secret documents. He’s put a target on the backs of cops. This is getting ugly. Don’t be in the wreckage.

Some like Rep. Eric Swalwell are urging Trump supporters to abandon him.
Other Trump detractors believe he could be facing prison time between the ongoing Justice Department investigation and the New York attorney general’s probe into the management of Trump’s businesses.
Thus far, neither Ivanka Trump nor Melania Trump has publicly confirmed or denied the claims of not wanting the ex-president to run for office again in 2024.
