Illegal immigration into the United States is on the rise once again.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources claimed that over 62,000 people made it illegally into the country in March.
Border crisis climbing yet again
According to Fox News, multiple sources of the CBP revealed that over 2,000 people daily, on average, entered America illegally last month.
Not only this, but more than 300,000 known “got aways” have been reported since the start of the current fiscal year in October 2021.
This marks a sharp rise in got aways numbers, as almost 400,000 such cases were reported in the whole fiscal year of 2021.
Known got aways are those migrants who are detected on border technology while entering America. This means that unknown got aways are likely to be a big multiple of known ones.
Reportedly, the Del Rio sector saw over 700 got aways daily, the highest in America, followed by the Tucson sector.
The past 14 months of Joe Biden’s open border policies have resulted in an unprecedented surge of illegal immigration.
The Biden Admin terminating Title 42 is going to open the flood gates to more illegal crossings.

These shocking numbers are reported at a time when Title 42 restrictions were implemented.
Now, when the Biden administration is aiming to wrap this up, border crises are expected to rise exponentially. This will eventually overwhelm border agents to the maximum possible extent.
Title 42 empowered border agents to expel illegal immigrants on the border, thus denying them entry into the United States.
According to Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, illegal immigrant encounters will soon reach one million in the current fiscal year within less than half of the year. In the whole of 2021, 1.7 million such incidents were reported.
Ortiz also indicated that Border Patrol is facing an extraordinary staffing crisis, coupled with other challenges induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, he also stated every border sector is busier, compared to the same time in 2021, as immigrants from 157 countries entered the United States.
Ending Title 42 would skyrocket illegal immigration
The Biden administration is looking to eliminate Title 42 restrictions in May this year. This would ultimately bring illegal crossings to a record high in the current fiscal year.
A border agent told Fox News that eliminating Title 42 would be like an illegal immigration “surge on top of a surge,” considering migrants would know they will not be deported anymore.
According to some reports, a whole slate of migrants is waiting in Mexico for the end of Title 42 so they can move to the United States.

Head of the National Border Patrol Council, Brandon Judd, also revealed some highly busy border sectors are overcrowded to as much as four times their maximum capacity.
Similarly, the Border Patrol Union president emphasized that due to the rising influx of illegal immigrants, border agents are left with 50 percent of their required resources.
The rest of them are being diverted toward the administrative purposes of dealing with the already entered immigrants.
Therefore, he added, the current administration created the “most dangerous” border situation in the history of the country.
