In what seems to be the Democrat Party’s last-ditch effort to salvage the upcoming midterm elections, Biden stood before a crowd of left-leaning voters, urging them to show up at the polls next week to prevent Republicans from chipping away at US democracy.
The crowd at the DNC was forced to listen to a lengthy “speech” by the president. He warned the election should not be taken for granted; although it might as well be, considering the lead the GOP has taken in the past two months.
Republicans demonized while violent Democrats remain scot-free
In his attempt to smear the entirety of the Republican Party, Biden added that the “political violence” that’s been surging in the US was provoked by the former administration’s lies and deceit, ignoring the fact his followers are the ones committing said acts of violence.
Joe Biden just proved to Americans that he doesn’t care that you can’t afford gas, can’t afford food, that our borders are invaded, and you’re victims of crime just like Paul Pelosi.
They only care about attacking Trump.
That’s it.

He propped up his remarks on the tried and tested rhetoric of using the midterm elections to rebuff the supposed political extremism of the GOP. Seeing as the left has been more prominent in acts of vandalism and violence, this narrative isn’t exactly a stable one.
According to Joe, there are apparently over 300 election deniers on the ballot this year, tying it to the idea that our democracy is in danger. This won’t age well when the Democrats start denying the 2024 election result, just as they did in 2016.
He even tried to draw a tangent between the January 6th, 2021 protests and the recent attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, claiming the years of criticism against the House Speaker are what provoked the attack.

Biden’s approval rating rebounds for a week then crashes back down
Despite all his efforts, polls are showing no one is buying into this stuff. With a 40-year-high inflation rate, Biden’s approval rating will only continue to go down, even more so considering his “genius” Inflation Reduction Act will actually continue increasing inflation in the US.
A recent Fox News survey found the Republican Party has taken the lead when it comes to likely voters on Election Day. Considering that the majority of the Democratic vote isn’t cast until then, things aren’t looking up for the left side of the political spectrum.
The same poll found the most common concern among Americans is the growing inflation and costs of living, as well as political divisions in the US, both issues that Democrats spent no time focusing on.

Instead of delivering on his promise of unifying this country, Biden spent the majority of his time in office demonizing Republicans, more specifically Trump supporters, all the while driving us into the worst recession this country has seen in recent history.
With everything out on the table for them, Democrats could have listened to voters and addressed the issue of inflation and the border crisis, giving them a fighting chance in the midterms.
Unfortunately for them, Biden seems to prioritize catering to the woke mob and the gender identity movement, pushing policies that pander to a small minority in the US, while ignoring and allowing the economic crisis to spiral out of control.
