House GOP Report Reveals CIA Involvement in Discrediting Hunter Biden’s Laptop Story

The House Judiciary and House Intelligence Committees recently discovered that the CIA might have assisted with the letter signed by 51 former national security officials.

This letter was meant to pour cold water on the Hunter Biden laptop story. In this instance, these former national security officials dismissed the laptop story as a Russian disinformation operation prior to the 2020 presidential election.

The report is titled:

Fox News Digital obtained a copy of the report early, due to how the committees were investigating where the October 2020 letter came from.

Some of the most prominent officials who signed the letter were former CIA Director and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former CIA Director John Brennan.

This is only the tip of the iceberg, though. Upon further review, there are many more pieces to this puzzle.

More Troubling News

Particularly damning, in this case, is how the committees revealed they have evidence that the CIA played a role in this.

Cariens informed the panels that he and the PCRB had been investigating in October 2020. Cariens revealed that during a call about his book with a CIA employee, the employee “asked” him separately if he would sign off on the letter.

Cariens was very clean with the committees:

The committees describe Cariens’ testimony as “potentially shocking.

More on Biden’s Campaign

Previously in April, Morell revealed that Joe Biden’s then-campaign foreign policy director Antony Blinken, who currently serves as Secretary of State, was “the impetus” behind the letter.

Blinken denied being involved in this plot.

In April, the committees claimed it is “apparent” that the Biden campaign was actively involved in spreading this sentiment to the public.

This had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election.
