Anthony S. Fauci is the country’s foremost infectious disease authority and the central figure in the government’s fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
Fauci Speaks Out
Earlier this week, he spoke out about the impact online trolls have had on his spouse and on his children.
Fauci, who is 81 years old, has been at the forefront of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984. However, he will resign at the end of this year after more than fifty years of public service.
In a BBC podcast discussion published on Friday, he stated he endures a significant number of personal threats, but he educated himself on how to “compartmentalize” things and preserved a high level of security to protect himself.
He stated the harassment of his family is more disturbing to him. At least two individuals are incarcerated in the United States for “credible” attempts on their life.
Fauci went on to say these individuals who engage in bullying, threatening, and trolling his wife and children are cowardly for doing so. He also pointed out only lowlifes would attack innocent people who have nothing to do with what is happening.
We have to agree. A cause has never been helped by bullying the innocent who aren’t a part of the problem. On the contrary, harassing Fauci’s family members actually discredits any legitimate claims against him.
Personal Attacks Worsen Issues
Regardless of whatever Fauci has or hasn’t done, or whether or not we like him as a person, attacking him personally, and especially his family members, does not deal with the problem at hand.
Address the accusations against the man, but leave the rest out of it. Fauci expressed in the interview that he tries to not let the harassment divert him from his goal of helping the American public.
I hope Anthony Fauci’s family is relentlessly harassed and sued legally for his crimes against this country’s children. When he’s long dead, only then will the mental health trauma from his atrocities be fully revealed. His family must pay for his ego.

Fauci became a divisive figure due to criticism of the government’s efforts to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus, which claimed more than a million lives in the United States. Others proclaimed him a hero.
While Fauci and his family are receiving a shocking amount of abuse, this is not a problem that doesn’t touch the lives of the average American citizen and surely anyone with access to an internet connection.
A Pew Research study revealed over 41 percent of people have “personally dealt with online harassment” with far too many people claiming to be the victims of more severe forms of harassment than they have before the age of social media.
This harassment takes the form of physical threats of violence, being stalked either online or in real life, and also sexual harassment.
He's not 'questioned' on the facts and the science. Rand Paul is not fit to spit-shine Dr. Fauci's shoes. He is slandered, threatened with violence, his family harassed. Big difference.

It has also been revealed the leading cause or trigger for online harassment and abuse is politics.
According to Fauci, this is because it would appear that the American public no longer seems to be able to disagree amicably or compromise.
