Elon Musk, the current CEO of Twitter, admitted on Friday that the leftist elite has an extensive censoring infrastructure against which conservatives are virtually powerless.
The world’s wealthiest man has been modifying the social media app and often sought input from influential users.
Efforts To Stifle Free Speech
Tom Fitton, head of Judicial Watch, explained to the successful businessman that the left has federal agencies, mainstream media, and nonprofit groups “focused like a beam” on coercing Big Tech corporations.
This is meant to repress and suppress online speech, whereas conservatives “only have a handful accounts on social media and organizations” fighting for free speech.
Musk said in his response to the social media post that the evaluation was more true than the majority of people realized.
That assessment is more accurate than most people realize

After posting a video regarding supposed threats to national security presented by President Joe Biden, Judicial Watch’s YouTube channel was taken offline for a week. Google-owned YouTube asserted that Judicial Watch was disseminating “election propaganda.”
Conservative Twitter accounts have experienced similar harassment. Renowned account Libs of TikTok, which reposts videos from extreme left-wing activists, was banned from Twitter three months ago for “hateful activity.”
Allie Beth Stuckey, a pundit and podcast presenter, was barred from Twitter twice, the first time for stating that a transgender Olympic weightlifter is “still a guy.” The second time was for criticizing a Fox News story that highlighted a family whose child professed to be transgender.
The banning of The Babylon Bee, a Christian satirical source that attacked transgender Biden presidency health official Rachel Levine, appears to have at least partially influenced Musk’s choice to buy Twitter in a move that was finalized last month.
Imagine being a Twitter employee who was so offended at the Babylon Bee calling a man a man that you decided it was a great idea to censor them only to watch Elon Musk take over the company and fire you. #TwitterLayoffs

Musk began his push for change some months ago with a survey for his millions of followers:
“Free speech is important for a true democracy. Do you believe Twitter adheres to this policy rigorously? The results of this survey will have significant implications. Please vote with care.”
Setting Things Right
Nevertheless, Musk recently assured left-leaning groups that he would reinstate content moderation capabilities for Twitter employees.
Musk indicated shortly after assuming control of the company that he would establish a new content moderation organization to manage all policy activities on the site.
He stated there would be no big content choices or account reinstatements prior to the council’s meeting.
Musk, on the other hand, dismissed numerous Twitter executives who had been derided for their declarations against freedom of speech, such as chief executive Parag Agrawal, as well as legal czar Vijay Gadde.
These people advocated for the suspension of erstwhile President Trump and repressed the Hunter Biden computer story days before the 2020 presidential election.
Musk, who also runs Tesla, SpaceX, and several smaller firms, issued a statement saying his $44 billion purchase agreement was driven by a desire to promote open dialogue and free speech.
Musk claimed he bought Twitter because of its significance to the fate of mankind. He stated it must function as a digital public square where diverse viewpoints may be argued civilly without turning to violence.
He emphasized there is a significant risk that social media would fragment into far-right and far-left filter bubbles that promote more hatred and divide the community.
