DeSantis Fires Back at Immigrants That Filed a Class Action Lawsuit

After a series of buses containing illegal immigrants were sent to sanctuary cities from the states on the southern border, the administration of said “sanctuaries” wasn’t happy with the massive influx of illegal aliens.

In light of this, a number of these immigrants supposedly filed a class action lawsuit against DeSantis and lawmakers who made the transport possible.

They claim the entire operation was a fraudulent, illegal scheme centered around personal gain and political interests.

DeSantis exposes consent form signed by Martha’s Vineyard immigrants

Aside from all of this being categorically untrue, given the fact DeSantis and Abbott merely wanted to ease the pressure on southern states, the Florida governor also believes the class action is nothing short of “political theater.”

This is orchestrated by far-left activists at the expense of the illegal aliens currently situated in Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis’ spokeswoman, Taryn Fenske, touched on the matter in more detail.

She added if any of these activists were able to see the border crisis for themselves, maybe the Biden administration would have finally been held accountable for the chaos they caused.

Biden’s reckless border policies made entering the US enormously enticing for opportunistic immigrants. This applies even if it means risking their own lives by traveling through Central America, putting themselves at the mercy of wildlife and cartels in the desert landscape.

Additionally, Fenske provided a copy of the exact consent form signed by all of these illegal immigrants before they boarded their means of transport. One line clearly states the benefactor is to be held harmless of all liability that may come during the agreed transport out of Texas.

Consent form reveals everything was done “by the book”

According to the class action lawsuit, these immigrants were promised they’d be going to Boston and Washington, rather than Martha’s Vineyard. It even boldly declares some of them were given $10 McDonald’s gift certificates.

The man behind the lawsuit, Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal, claims no person should be used as a political pawn, despite the fact a number of these sanctuary cities advertised themselves as such to gain Democratic support.

With the lawsuit already filed, some Democratic officials are using it as leverage to urge a federal investigation into Abbott and DeSantis, even though the provided consent form is proof enough there was no foul play.

Fenske confirmed all of the transportation was on a voluntary basis. Immigrants involved were given detailed info on how things would work out, which is clearly no longer the case, at least if the lawsuit is to be trusted.

The spokeswoman for DeSantis also added these illegal aliens were starved and abandoned. Yet, activists couldn’t bother doing a thing for them. Now that they’ve been given a place to stay in some of these “sanctuary cities,” the liberals aren’t happy.

There really is no pleasing the left-leaning crowd. Seeing how they shipped out nearly five dozen immigrants in less than 48 hours from Martha’s Vineyard should be enough evidence of how the left actually treats minority groups.
