On May 17, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna introduced a resolution to kick Rep. Adam Schiff out of Congress.
Luna’s resolution was introduced days after Special Counsel John Durham’s release of a report. This was concerning the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign for allegedly colluding with Russia.
Anna Paulina Luna Demands Justice
Following multiple years of investigations, Durham determined the FBI should not have launched an investigation into the Trump campaign.
In his report, Durham concluded that the Justice Department and the FBI failed to abide by the law with regard to certain events and activities.
Schiff has been one of the most vocal proponents of the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy.
Luna’s resolution is one-page long and uses Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution to justify Schiff’s expulsion from Congress.
Schiff Must Go
When Luna introduced her resolution on May 17, she published multiple statements.
She believes the California congressman lied to the American people and abused his position on the House Intelligence Committee to push fallacious information that put American taxpayers on the hook for millions of dollars.
Ultimately, Luna maintains that Schiff’s conduct besmirched the image of the United States House.
Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars.

Luna published a tweet on her social media page, calling for the House Ethics Committee to investigate Schiff for his propagation of the Trump-Russia collusion claims.
Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for… pic.twitter.com/A8rTBPY77Z

Luna represents Florida’s 13th congressional district. She was first elected to this position in 2022 after defeating Democratic challenger Eric Lynn by a 53.1% to 45.1% margin in the midterm elections of that year.
She previously ran against then-incumbent Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist in 2020, where she lost her contest by a 53% to 47% margin.
For his part, Schiff served in Congress since 2001. He currently represents California’s 30th district and previously served in California’s 27th, 28th, and 29th districts.
Prior to joining Congress, Schiff served in the California State Senate from 1996 to 2000.
