With less than three weeks left in the campaign period, President Trump emphasizes Joe Biden’s proclivity toward misspeaking.

The Democratic candidate, a self-described gaffe machine, has a momentary lapse as he appeared to forget the name of Senator Mitt Romney’s name.

On Monday in Toledo, Ohio, Joe Biden spoke in a parking lot with about 30 American made cars and trucks.

He was quoted saying, “You know, we have to come together. That’s why I’m running. I’m running as a proud Democrat for the Senate when I ran as a proud Democrat for vice president, and I’m running as a proud Democrat for president”.

Joe Biden appeared to make another gaffe when he forgot Utah Senator Mitt Romeny’s name and instead said, “I got in trouble when we were running against that senator who was a Moment, the governor.” In 2012, Mitt Romney was the Republican presidential nominee.

President Trump caught the blunders and took it on Twitter to criticize the Democrat nominee. Trump wrote on Twitter, “Biden losing big in Florida. Only Fake Polls show otherwise! Bad for Healthcare. Thinks he’s running for the Senate. Forgot Mitt Romney’s name and where he was! ‘I’m running as a proud Democrat, for the Senate.’ Sleepy Joe Biden today. It’s only going to get worse. It is not sustainable for our County – China will own us!!!!”

Later, President Trump again wrote on Twitter sarcastically, saying that Mitt Romney can’t be more thrilled about what happened. He also pointed out how Joe Biden said he is running for the US Senate again, totally forgetting where he was.

President Trump also pointed out how it was evident that Joe Biden’s “dementia” is rapidly getting worse.

He continued by saying that one thing is for sure, the President Xi of China, President Putin of Russia, and North Korean Supreme Leader are 100% sharp. And then America has someone running that is not 100%, 80% nor 60%, Trump said.

On Monday night, when President Trump was in Sanford, Florida, he repeated his joke by saying, “Sleepy Joe Biden, not a nice guy, by the way. He had a very bad day today.” He continued by saying that “If I ever had a day like he had today, they’d say: ‘It’s over. It’s over.”

Then Trump jokingly said, ‘Could you imagine if I did that? ‘Great to be with you. It’s great to be a wonderful developer from New York.’ They’d say: ‘he’s out of here. Get him out.”

Biden campaign increased advertising in Ohio. The Biden campaign has increased their advertising efforts in Ohio even after Trump has scaled back in his efforts in Ohia and elsewhere.

Tim Murtaugh, Trump’s campaign spokesperson, said that Biden is wasting a valuable day on the campaign trail by visiting a state that he cannot win.

56% of voters said they are better off now than 4 years ago

Joe Biden argued that President Trump mishandled the coronavirus pandemic and said that it exacerbated the economic fallout. He also stated that Trump’s administration wasted the strong economy passed on by the Obama-Biden administration four years ago.

Biden also told the crowd in Toldeo, “He turned his back on you. I promise you, I will never do that,”

This statement was, however, contradicting data released by Gallup poll. According to the survey, at least 56% of American voters believed that they are better off now than four years ago, during the Obama-Biden administration.
