While he was speaking in front of a Puerto Rican crowd earlier this week on Monday, Biden had some secrets to share with those present, including the “well-known fact” he grew up among Puerto Ricans in Delaware.
Apparently, there’s quite a sizeable amount of Puerto Ricans in Biden’s home state; although a quick Google search will show some information that doesn’t exactly confirm the president’s claims.

While it’s true Delaware does fall into the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Puerto Rico is actually part of the First Circuit, making everything about Biden’s claims factually incorrect.

Even though there’s no conclusive way to find out whether Biden spent a considerable amount of time with Delaware’s Puerto Rican population, many Delaware residents pointed out the improbability of this happening was immense.
According to a poll conducted by the New York Post, back in 1970, two years before Biden was initially elected to the Senate, Delaware’s Puerto Rican population was a grand total of 2.1k or 0.39% of the state’s total population.
While this number nearly doubled by 1980, it’s still not high enough to warrant his claims.
In fact, prior to Monday’s speech, Biden had never even spoken of this link with the community, let hinted at being “raised” by the said community, leaving many baffled with his claims.

No one believes him, not even Jill
However, this isn’t the first time Biden’s invented a personal backstory just to get the voters back on his side.
He’d previously claimed he used to drive an 18-wheeler while speaking at a Mack Truck facility and declared that he’d gone to Shul more than the majority of the Jewish attendees at one of his rallies.
Due to this, many took to Twitter to criticize Biden for blatantly lying to groups of people while seeking personal interest, tearing into him for his outlandish stories that have no connection with reality whatsoever.
Some even called back to the immense number of times he’d call himself “Joey” while telling a story from another person’s perspective, which is a common method he’s been using to portray himself in a better light.

Even his wife Jill couldn’t believe what she was hearing, as she was seen looking away and mouthing a couple of words just as he made the outlandish claim.
Unfortunately, this won’t be enough to fix Biden’s standing, no matter how hard he tries. His approval rating reached record lows, rivaled only by Harris’ approval rating which took a hit last week when she went halfway across the world to tend to the Korean border.
Biden may or may not have interacted with the Puerto Rican community in Delaware, regardless of its size; the one certainty we have is he’d rather lie and ignore bigger issues than do what’s necessary for this country.
