Biden Received a Fiery Statement from Sen. Ted Cruz

Biden received some fiery backlash from Senator Ted Cruz for aggravating the Haitian immigration crisis. Biden did this by canceling the “deportation flights” which encouraged more immigrants to storm the border.

Cruz emphasized how the cancellation of deportation flights encouraged more Haitian immigrants to cross the border

During a conference in Michigan on Friday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz appeared as a keynote speaker. Cruz then talked about the worsening illegal immigration at the southern border.

He emphasized how Biden opted to cancel the flights intended to fly Haitians back to their country. Instead, the Biden administration chose to put migrants under the bridge in Del Rio.

According to the Texas senator, the current scenario at the border is an “absolute catastrophe,” as shown by the recorded number of illegal immigrants earlier this month. Based on reports, there were around 10,000 to 15,000 Haitian immigrants held under the Del Rio bridge.

Cruz noted how around 900 Haitians were supposed to be deported to Haiti back on September 8. However, on that very day, Biden chose to stop the deportation flight and 900 Haitians stayed in the United States.

As a result of this move, Cruz alleged the Haitians sent messages to their families and friends, stating how the U.S. kept them in the country. Eight days later, the 900 illegal immigrants grew to over 10,000. Then, within a span of few days, that number multiplied to over 15,000.

The Texas senator then warned how likely it is for the United States to experience over two million illegal immigrant apprehensions in 2021 alone. Cruz added that Biden and his administration fostered “the worst” immigration disaster in the past 21 years. According to Cruz, the mess was deliberately induced by the poor political decisions of the president.

Biden made a claim in the UN assembly, stating they have the situation “under control”

On top of this, the Republican senator likewise maintained Biden hasn’t even attempted to take a look at the children in “cages.” These children were housed in border facilities and roughly 20% were COVID infected. Also, the president has not even tried to take a look at the thousands of illegal immigrants held captive under the Del Rio bridge.

Meanwhile, during the United Nations Assembly, the president was asked questions pertaining to the border crisis. Biden answered that he and his administration have it “under control.”

On the other hand, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas visited Del Rio, Texas. During this visit, he issued a warning to migrants who were contemplating crossing the U.S. borders.

Mayorkas stated that if the immigrants come to the U.S. illegally, they will be deported. The journey they took to cross will not be successful; it will only endanger their lives and the lives of their families.

Mayorkas then claimed the Biden administration is committed to developing humane, orderly, and safe ways of immigration. Illegally crossing the U.S. border is not the way to do it.
