President Joe “Empty Shelves” Biden came up with a brand-new lie about gas prices across the nation; he claimed they declined under an average of $3.00 per gallon in “some few states.”
Biden’s False Claims on Gasoline
The sky-high inflation and gas prices hammering American families and consumers for many months on Sleepy Joe’s watch constitute only some of the major crises Biden bears responsibility for.
Speaking at an event in the White House on Monday, Empty Shelves Joe falsely claimed a number of states across the nation have average gas prices of under $3.00 per gallon.
Biden alleged that a gallon of gasoline “is below three bucks” in “some few states,” as cited by Breitbart News. He also claimed, “in other places,” the average gas price per gallon is “in the low threes.”
Meanwhile, data from the American Automobile Association shows none of the 50 states, and not even the District of Columbia, maintain the kind of gas prices that the Democrat president has alleged.
According to GasBuddy.com, the average gas price per gallon in the state of Mississippi is the lowest in the nation. It stands at $3.04. As of Tuesday morning, the White House has not corrected Sleepy Joe’s incorrect gas price claims.
Biden on gas prices today: “In some few states, it’s below three bucks.”
According to AAA, there are no states with gas prices below three bucks today.

U.S. oil reserves are at the lowest level in 4 decades.
Thanks, Joe Biden.

Joe Biden claims again — falsely — that gas is below $3/gal in some states.
There are ZERO states with an average price under $3/gal — and gas prices remain $1.34/gal higher than when Biden took office. pic.twitter.com/wG2oVAXgWU

The Second Time in One Week
This isn’t the first time in recent days that Biden just de facto lied about how much gas prices have declined.
During an event of the Democratic National Committee in Washington, DC, last week, the failing president made similar false allegations – except that time, the White House sort of corrected him.
Back then, Biden boasted that the average gas price is lower than $2.99 in a total of 41 states, plus the District of Columbia.
The fact of the matter, however, is that he got the average price in question wrong by a full dollar. This is because, at the time, the average price of gas station fuel stood at $3.99, not 2.99.
That was indeed rectified by his staffers at the White House, but not in an official statement correction or at least in a social media post.
Instead, the right figure was put in a readout of Biden’s speech, as though he never said the wrong one.
It remains unclear if whether that time, as well as this week, Sleepy Joe blundered by mistake in one of his countless “senior moment” gaffes – or whether he deliberately tried to delude the American public about how much the average gas price per gallon has gone down recently.
It certainly would not mark the first time the president of the United States tried to deceive the American people.
In another blunder in last week’s speech, Empty Shelves Joe also falsely claimed the current unemployment rate of 3.7% is the lowest in “more than 50 years.”
