Biden Confuses Trump with George in Another Campaign Gaffe

Last Sunday, Joe Biden seemed to forget who is the current President of the United States as he confused Trump with George, saying, “He needs to stop four more years of George.”

In a virtual concert last Sunday, Joe Biden seemed to forget who is the current President of the United States and his rival. He was quoted saying, “Four more years of George, er, George, er, he – we’re going to find ourselves in a position where, if Trump gets elected, we’re going to be in a different world,”

Biden can be seen sitting side by side with his wife, Jill Biden, as he speaks, and his wife appears to be whispering “Trump” to remind Joe as he faltered over such elementary fact.

After Joe Biden’s gaffe, people were quick to speculate that Biden was thinking of George W. Bush, who served as the United States President from the year 2001-2009. Biden might also be thinking of George H. W. Bush, who was seated as the President from 1989 to 1993.

This gaffe once again raised speculations about the Democratic nominee’s mental capacity as the classic question asked of confused patients are “Who is the President?”

President Trump has frequently referenced Biden’s mental capacity. On Monday, the President mocked Biden for the gaffe as he spoke at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

President Trump asked the crowd, “Did you see when he called me George? I don’t know if I like George. What a mess. He called me George.”

He further added that he does not know if he should be insulted or be happy about it before saying he is “sort of insulted.”

Social media users also seized this gaffe as Trump War Room, a pro-Trump social group, immediately posted on Twitter.

Some people got dismayed by what the Democratic nominee has displayed. One social media user posted, “Watch his wife saying Trump under her breath three times.” Another said, “The look on Jill’s face was like ‘come on Joe, get the train back on the tracks…”

This Joe Biden blunder also came few days after he was caught on a campaign video saying, “We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

Previously in an interview with Joe Biden by CBS news, the anchor asked him if he has ever been tested for cognitive decline. This was not taken by him on a good note, and answered, “No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man.”

In another situation, Joe Biden made yet another embarrassing slip while doing an interview with 60 Minutes.

In the interview which was aired on Sunday, Biden discussed his corporate tax plans for public schools to which he stated, “I can send every single qualified person to a four-year college in their state for $150 billion.”

Meanwhile, 60 Minutes fact-checked the statement, which was contradicted by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Centre. Then, the host told viewers, “After our interview, Mr. Biden’s staff told us he misspoke, and that the cost of free public college could be twice as much as he said,”

Trump campaign has turned up the heat in the past months about Biden’s mental capacity, saying that it is “declining.”

President Trump has also repeatedly joked that Biden might end up in a care home during his term as the President and that Kamala Harris will take over.

Earlier this month, the President also tweeted that his rival had “dementia,” a word that President Trump previously avoided using and instead says he was mentally “shot.”

The President also tweeted a photoshopped image showing Joe Biden in a wheelchair in a nursing home showing the words “Biden for Resident.”
