President Biden touched new heights of telling lies during his speech at the Naval Academy on Friday.
He told the graduating class that he applied to the academy back in 1965, but the dates he is telling are not adding up at all.

Biden’s Lies Caught in Naval Academy
Biden threatened the audience not to ask him “tough questions,” mentioning he would be their commander-in-chief going forward.
During the speech, Biden claimed he was appointed to the Naval Academy by former US Senator J. Caleb Boggs. However, Biden stated he went to attend the University in Delaware because he wanted to be a “football star.”
The dates in Biden’s fabricated story do not add up at all. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965, so he could not have applied to the Naval Academy the same year logically.
“I was appointed to the Naval Academy in 1965” says Biden while speaking to Naval Academy graduates.
The problem is (as usual) this never happened and he once again confabulated a lie.

Reportedly, the story of Joe Biden was a shock for many journalists as well, who have covered his presidential campaigns in the past and are well aware of his biography.
Even his autobiography of 2008, “Promises to Keep,” did not mention the Naval Academy at all.
In his speech, Biden also mentioned his potentially imaginary conversation with Senator J. Caleb Boggs, against whom he ran a Senate race.
The president noted his competitor told him that he still would have some service left in the military, had he agreed to accept his appointment to the Naval Academy in the past.
Biden’s Long History of Lying
This is not the first time Biden tried to relate to his audience using self-made stories.
In September of last year, the president told Jewish leaders he attended the Tree of Life synagogue in 2018 after the mass shooting event. However, the synagogue claimed he never visited them.
Later on, the White House also admitted he did not go to the worshiping place; Biden was instead referring to his phone call to the synagogue’s rabbi.

Previously, Biden also claimed he “used to drive a tractor-trailer.”
While liberal fact-checkers immediately jumped in to defend Biden, he was only found driving a school bus as a student. This claim of Biden later made him a laughingstock on the entire internet when the news made headlines.
Once, Biden also stated he was arrested in South Africa when he was visiting Nelson Mandela in prison on Robben Island. As the news went viral, Biden ended up acknowledging that he was never arrested, but only stopped.
When he was unable to make up his own imaginary events, Biden tried to copy other people’s speeches. He has a long history of plagiarizing speeches.
Biden’s 1987 presidential campaign ended with the same plagiarism scandal when he was caught copying a speech of a British politician without attribution.
